Buyers decide quickly whether they trust a car. You cannot change its age or mileage, but you can make it easy to trust.
Get the paperwork in order
- Have the logbook ready and make sure the details match your ID.
- Gather service records, receipts and any warranty documents.
- Clear any outstanding loan or logbook loan before listing.
Clean it properly
A thorough wash, a vacuum and clean windows make a car look looked after. Remove personal items so buyers can picture the car as theirs.
Fix the small things
Replace blown bulbs, top up fluids and fix minor faults. Small repairs cost little and remove easy reasons to haggle. Be honest about anything bigger, because buyers will find it.
Take good photographs
Shoot in daylight against a clean background. Show the front three-quarter, side, rear, interior, dashboard with the odometer, engine bay and tyres. Include any marks honestly.
Set a realistic price
Look at what similar cars sell for, not just what they are advertised at. A fair price attracts serious buyers early, when interest is highest.
Or let someone else handle it
If you do not want the calls, viewings and negotiation, we can inspect, photograph, list and sell your car for you.
